Durham Centre has changed it's on-line booking process to include a secure on-line payment facility. You will now be able to book and pay for most of our rallies on-line.  We are using the payment services of Paypal, which offers a fast secure payment system.

The Good News

You can book and pay for rallies with a few clicks of the mouse. Much easier that filling in rally slips, writing cheques (whatever they are!) searching for the book to find the Marshal's address, finding an envelope, buying a stamp and going to the post box without the envelope which is still lying on the kitchen table!!

You will be able to use a debit or credit card to pay for rallies.  You can, of course, pay with a Paypal account if you have one, though you don't have to open a paypal account if you don't want to. 

The Centre will receive payment immediately.  Since introducing on-line booking, which has proved to be very popular, there have been a few occasions when members have booked rallies but not turned up.

The Rally Marshal will not have the added task of collecting rally fees on arrival, which reduces their work and improves security (large amounts of cash being held in caravans).

Durham Centre will be ready for the time when personal cheques cease to exist.  Many predict this will be sooner rather than later.

The Bad News

Accepting on-line payment incurs additonal expenses and to help cover these costs we charge a nominal internet booking fee. The booking fee is as follows:

Holiday rallies will state the booking fee on the rally information page.

You will be informed of the internet rally price, including the booking fee, before making your payment.

You can, of course, still make postal bookings with a cheque, or book in person at a rally with cash or cheque.

How it works

Click on the button for your chosen rally.

Complete the rally booking form and click Send.

On the next screen select the rally you wish to pay for from the drop down list and click on the button and you will be transferred to our secure payment area on Paypal.
